Health check FAQs
No. We use professional tools for speed, security and SEO data, but a developer works through every area by hand and on real devices. The report is written for your business, not generated from a template.
Yes. Temporary WordPress admin access lets us check plugin versions, forms, settings and signs of compromise properly. We will send instructions for creating a user you can remove afterwards.
The health check is designed for WordPress. For Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or custom sites we can still review speed, SEO, mobile and conversion, but the security and update sections will be limited. Ask us first and we will tell you whether it is worth it.
Only if the report says a rebuild is the sensible option, and we will show the reasoning. Most health checks end in a short list of fixes rather than a new site. The $350 is credited either way, so there is no incentive for us to push a rebuild.
A health check is a one-off deep review with a written report. A care plan is ongoing: updates, backups, security monitoring and support each month from $32.95. Many clients do the health check first, fix what it finds, then move onto a care plan.
We can review a competitor’s site from the outside, covering speed, SEO and mobile, as part of your check for a small extra fee. We cannot check anything that needs admin access.
