What is the difference between managed and self-managed hosting?

On a managed WordPress plan, we take care of the website as well, including updates, backup checks, security monitoring and fixes. Both run on the same servers, so you can switch between them later.
Do you help with WordPress on self-managed plans?
We support the server, hosting, email, DNS and SSL. Help with WordPress itself, such as fixing a plugin conflict or making changes to your site, is available at our standard hourly rate. If you would rather have updates and fixes included, you can move to a managed plan at any time.
Can I upgrade to managed hosting later?
